Distribution of Clothes for the Festival of Eid

Eid is the day when we set aside our differences from each other and come together to celebrate. It is the day of happiness. Like the previous Eid-ul-Fitr, Runner Bangladesh Development Society came together to organise a campaign called 'Making Eid Day for Them, 2016' in partnership with a human rights organisation called Human Rights Support Centre.

The campaign took place in a school run by Children's Heaven in the slum area around Mohakhali Railway, where the organisations gave away new clothes to the underprivileged people in the area. The proceedings were observed by the executive director of Human Rights Support Centre S.M. Mahfujul Haque Choudhury.

Also present during the event were the president of Youth Journalists' Forum Abdullah Hasan, president of Children's Heaven S.M. Al Mahmud, executive director of Runner Bangladesh Development Society Safiqul Hasan, director Abdullah Shaheen, and several other Runners from the organition.
